A monthly event with one rule: 1492 words.
Where the name comes from
1492 is the year of the discovery that changed the world. Tokens are the new currency of artificial intelligence: the smallest unit language models read, think and answer with.
We put the two together. Every talk is a small discovery about AI, told live by the person who lived it, in the time it takes to say about 1492 words: eight to ten minutes.
Who it's for
For those who use AI at work, those who build it, those who study it, and those who simply have a formed opinion. You don't need to be an expert: you need something to say.

Eight to ten minutes
At a natural pace, 1492 words fit in that time. Go over and we cut you off. Fall short and you tell us some jokes.

Five talks per edition
Each event brings together five speakers. One hour of content, no filler, and time afterwards to talk.

Everything is recorded and published
Every talk goes to the 1492tokens YouTube channel and to this website. Clips may appear on Instagram and TikTok. Whoever couldn't come still gets to watch.
